Four novels

By day, Bill Lawrence manages large-scale engineering projects. By night, he writes from the wilds of North Georgia, proof that an ordinary guy can end up in some pretty extraordinary stories.

He reads 200-plus books a year: military action, space opera, apocalypse, who-dun-its, romance, fantasy and magic, westerns, naval adventures, everything but horror. Like a lot of readers, he figured he could write a novel. Unlike a lot of readers, he actually did.

The result was Star's Secret, a combination of survival, romance and science fiction. A couple of years of polishing and help from some talented editors later, it landed on Amazon. Crying in the Night, Diving Into Danger and Untamed Country followed, with more in the pipeline.

"If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot."
Stephen King
